Note: the Altair newsletter has an incorrect meeting spot. We will meet at Jerry‘s, Under the Hammer.

Marys Peak is the highest spot in the Coast Range. Its wildflower-dotted summit meadows command views from the ocean to the Cascades. We will hike the Meadow Edge and Summit Loop trails along the margin of huge old growth noble fires and meadows. The trail climbs from 3520 ft to the summit at 4297 ft for a 777 foot gain. We will take a short break at the top to admire the wildflowers. We consider the hike to be moderate. Parking $5.00 Free with NW Forest, America the Beautiful Pass

There will be an optional stop in Monroe at Long Timber Brewing.
